Musée national Adrien Dubouché Limoges
December 12th - May 25th 2026

Artist

From December 12, 2025 to May 25, 2026, the Musée national Adrien Dubouché in Limoges will present its new original exhibition, Les énergies de la terre.

Whether natural or transformed, stored or in motion, spectacular or invisible, energy is everywhere. Today at the heart of global concerns, it has become a political, economic, and environmental issue. Inseparable from artistic activity as a whole, energy is present at every stage of ceramic creation in particular.

Through a dynamic exhibition route shaped by a dialogue between art and science, Les énergies de la terre invites visitors to immerse themselves in the very notion of energy and in the ways it has been perceived by humankind, scientists, and artists over time.

Installed in the museum’s temporary exhibition galleries, The Energies of the Earth will feature numerous loans from prestigious institutions as well as works by contemporary artists. More than 300 works will be presented, including ceramic creations, graphic artworks, and scientific objects, brought into dialogue through an inventive exhibition design enhanced by multimedia installations.
